Looking for the best neighbourhoods and streets to find impressive light displays this Christmas? Here’s HOOD’s Melbourne guide for 2021.
For our first normal Christmas in two years, many Melbournian families will be keen to take advantage of a warm December evening to go for a drive and scout out grand displays of fairy lights and blow-up reindeer.
But as much fun as it is to surprise yourself with a hidden gem, truly dazzling displays can be hard to seek out. That probably means you should have at least a couple of destinations in mind to ensure your tour isn’t a complete disappointment.
That’s why HOOD has researched for you! We’ve combed through social media posts, online blogs, and listing sites and interrogated friends and family to find the biggest and brightest home Christmas light displays in Melbourne.
We’ve split this list up into five sections to encompass as many of Melbourne’s surrounding suburbs as possible.
