How to redirect ALL of your mail to your new house

To cut a long story short, there’s an easy way and a hard way for mail redirection in Australia.

The easier way

The easy way starts at $34 through Australia Post - you’ll get one month of automatic mail redirection to a new address directly through postal services (with up to six name), and you’ll be able to notify selected banks, insurers and energy providers of your new address.

The cost for this service can vary depending on how long you need it to run, however discounts are available for concession card holders.

The cheaper way

The hard way involves organising things yourself, but won’t cost you anything. You’ll need to compile a list of the businesses and people you need to update your new address, and make sure they get the memo before you shift.
